“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”
Steve Jobs, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Apple Inc.
– Start with something, Might be any small thing but start!!, No matter how small the resources you are living on, because if you don’t there’ll be no way that your resources increase, whereas if you start there is a small possibility that they might.
Eg: Before Ranveer singh got his huge break in Bollywood he used to setup lights nd arrange the set and used to pray that someone spots his and finds him suitable for an optimal role.
-Leaving your comfort zone should be the next building block you need to achieve and break it down into small steps that’ll lead you there, a Long term goal is a build-up of many small-term goals,
‘Hustling’- you must’ve heard this word a lot of time in inspirational and motivational speeches but what does it exactly relate to, It means to maximise your output by managing your time and utilising it optimally.
-Leave People’s opinions: People talk, and that’s what they are meant to do, they will criticise and they will interfere but they don’t have the vision you are having in your mind,
to show them and to make them believe in your vision you will have to execute and achieve that dream, even then people will talk but at that point in time your mindset will be way above then theirs to focus on their opinions.
-Hardwork: This is the key fundamental of how your company is going to take shape as, there is no other way than this, no one ever has not worked for it and achieved something they’ve dreamt of except if their parent have handed it to them but that’s not you, thats not why you’re here.
People nowadays are more inclined towards Instant Gratification rather than planting the seed right now and waiting for Delayed Gratification to eat the fruit later
-Risk it all: You will face a point in time where you are faced with a choice between a stable income source or an opportunity can can lead you to your dream but it can also go downhill but this shouldn’t stop you from taking the risk as you should always visualise that even if the chance of happening is 10% then it should be worth it in your head to accept 90% of the failure.
-Choose your partners carefully: This will make or break your comapny as most of the issues faced by a compny is an internal riff between the partners who are fighting for equity or decisions and share, you need to choose your partner very wisely
You need to consider 5 thing before choosing your partner
- You should know him inside-out, you need to know his behaviour, his strengths and weaknesses and how he reacts in situations
- Does he fill the gap that’s left and in turn do you fill his void, if yes then there will be synergy between you two
- Are you able to take on the tasks given to you and vice versa with him as well
- He should be a freind, there should be a connection between you and that should be the foundation of the business
- You and your Partner sould be working towards the same goal and not for monetary reasons , if you are a videographer, both of you need to share the love for video-making or creating video content and progressing and improvig the video quality and the creativity in your field.
-Gratitude: After everything that you’ve done, you’ve achieved you should feel grateful for what you’ve been blessed with, that all of your hardwork has been paid and you’re at a stability in life doing what you always have wanted to do.
thank your supporters, and also the haters as they are your biggest stalkers and criticisers in your journey.
